Pringles Tapestry led by Linda Blessing
Please bring:
1. Pringles, Crystal Light or small coffee can, painted black, with
stained, slotted wood base glued to bottom
2. Caning if you have it--we will use several sizes
3. Various soft weaving media--yarn, embroidery floss, heavy thread,
crochet thread, etc.
4. Larger amount of dark color (blue, brown, navy, green) heavy
crochet thread for outlining the tapestry effect
5. Lid for can and/or drawer pull for the lid, if desired

for 2 pieces of 90# water color paper.

Please sign up and pay at the January meeting so we will know how
many to plan for.

Please
bring 4-5
acrylic paints to share (like Plaid or Delta Ceramcoat brands), 1"
foam brush, and a hair dryer if you have one to help dry the paper. We
would like to paint both sides.
Plastic sheets, paper easels, and power strips for electricity will be
provided. We will also prepaint some paper so people will be able to
experience cutting the strips and weaving a small basket. |

(base measures 3-1/2 x 6")
From 3/8" FF, cut 6 @ 13", 3 @
16", 1 @ 26" (for handle) and 2 @ 10" for fillers
Weavers are assorted dyed 1/4" or 3/16" FF or FO
#2 dyed round reed for braid will be provided
