Three ears of Indian Corn are made in actual size and the many colors of nature.  Real corn husk top the ears with rafia for a bow.  A beautiful accent for your door or wall.  Skills:  Continuous weave, twining, shaping, and embellishing.

“Coin Catcher-Antler Tray”

Familiarize yourself with rib-style basketry and working with antlers when you create this useful little basket tray.  Stash your cash, coins that is, right here or hang your prize up on the wall.  Instructor will have antler pre-drilled with primary ribs installed to make sure you finish in time.  Antler drilling demo and tricks of the trade shared.

“You Are My Sunshine”

Students begin by inserting spokes into the base in a specific order.  Weaving techniques include start/stop weaving, 3-rod twining using 2 weavers and regular twining.  A wood swing handle is used and a metal flower and sign are added to the finished basket.
